Job summary

Coastal Waste & Recycling is seeking a CDL Roll Off Driver in Florida to safely operate a Roll Off Truck and service diverse customer routes. You will transport, deliver, and dispose of materials while upholding safety standards and delivering professional customer service as a Coastal representative.

You will join a team focused on safety, reliability, and growth, with DOT compliance, route documentation, and pre/post-trip inspections. Overtime may be available as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles and associated equipment.
• Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or move up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Ability to safely climb, bend, squat, kneel, and enter/exit equipment throughout the workday.
• Willingness to work overtime and varying schedules as business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Operate hydraulic equipment and vehicle controls safely and efficiently.

• Report mechanical concerns, safety issues, accidents, or route delays promptly.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations throughout the day.
• Utilize onboard technology and electronic devices to complete route documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional vehicle.
• Assist teammates with other operational needs as directed by management.

Your Role

As a CDL Roll Off Driver, you'll safely operate a Roll Off Truck while servicing customers along assigned routes. You'll be responsible for safely collecting, transporting, delivering, or servicing materials while providing outstanding customer service and representing Coastal professionally every day.

What You'll Do

• Safely operate a Roll Off Truck on assigned routes.

• Service residential, commercial, industrial, or municipal customers based on assigned route.
