Job summary

Waste Pro is seeking energetic CDL drivers in Sanford, FL to join our team operating refuse collection vehicles on pre-assigned routes. Drivers will perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, load and dump refuse, and provide courteous service to customers while adhering to DOT regulations.

Qualified candidates must hold a valid Class A or B CDL, be at least 21, and speak English. We offer competitive pay, a driver award program, and opportunities to advance in a safety‑minded environment.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A or B CDL valid for the state of employment
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older
• Understand refuse collection policies, procedures, guidelines and practices; understanding of DOT requirements
• Speak and read English well enough to communicate with customers, co workers, dispatch and supervisors

Responsibilities

• Safely drives truck on pre-established route and dumps refuse per schedule
• Provides courteous, expeditious customer service to the public and municipal customers
• Ensures proper pickup and transfer of garbage and recyclables
• Performs daily pre- and post-trip inspections and safety checks
• Maintains clean truck and conducts basic maintenance as needed
• Completes required company and regulatory reports and documents
• Complies with DOT requirements for commercial motor vehicles
