Qualifications

• Must have a Class A or B CDL valid for the state in which the position works.
• Clean driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Understand refuse collection policies, DOT/state requirements, and safety procedures.
• Able to read and speak English well enough to communicate with customers and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate refuse trucks on residential routes.
• Oversee helpers on the route and ensure safety compliance.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete required documentation.
• Collect garbage, recycling, and yard waste while following route schedules.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any issues to dispatch.
