Job summary

Borden Dairy Company is seeking a Route Sales Representative to deliver and restock products at retail stores and wholesale locations, with a valid CDL required. You will drive a commercial vehicle along an established route and service customer accounts.

You will handle merchandising, shipment verification, and order documentation while maintaining DOT logs and safety standards. The role requires reliability, the ability to lift heavy loads, and flexibility for overtime and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum age of 21 years.
• 6 months of verifiable delivery driving experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English; bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, unload and deliver products to customer accounts.
• Drive a commercial vehicle along a set route to deliver, stock and stage products.
• Set up merchandise displays and deliver promotional materials to customers.
• Verify shipment accuracy and ensure products are salable.
• Address and resolve discrepancies and customer complaints professionally.
• Collect empty containers and unsold merchandise for return.
• Complete daily delivery paperwork and proof of delivery documents.
• Conduct DOT-compliant motor vehicle inspections and assist with routine truck maintenance.
• Maintain professional appearance and courteous demeanor with customers and coworkers.
• Accurately maintain vehicle and hours-of-service logs.
