Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in North Carolina is seeking an Equipment Operator to drive and operate heavy equipment to clear branches and vegetation from electrical lines along multi-state routes.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, safety awareness, the ability to work in varying weather, and the flexibility to travel to different job sites. Employment is full-time, non-exempt with competitive hourly pay and weekly direct deposit.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Familiar with electrical hazards.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Driver license required; CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, skid steers, excavators, loaders, dump trucks, mowers and stump grinders.
• Transport equipment to and from multi-state job locations.
• Install and remove gates, fences, and culverts as needed.
• Cut brush with a chainsaw and feed brush into a wood chipper.
• Apply herbicide following safety guidelines and use spray equipment.
• Maintain trucks and equipment in good mechanical order.
