Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate highway maintenance equipment (trucks, rollers, loaders, tractors, snowplows, etc.).
• Patches roadways, maintains signs, and repairs bridges, culverts and structures.
• Move, load, and unload equipment, materials, and hazardous materials within weight limits.
• Train coworkers in maintenance tasks and procedures to improve performance.
• Perform snow removal and emergency response duties as needed, including nights and weekends.
• Respond to emergency call-outs with short notice if required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
