Job summary

Sunshine Disposal & Recycling is hiring a Refuse Truck Driver in Lewiston, ID for a full-time, day shift (6:30am-2:30pm). Starting wage is $23.79/hour with raises at 6, 12, and 18 months plus COLA starting 2027. Requires Class A or B CDL, DOT medical card, and FMCSA drug testing compliance.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B required.
• FMCSA drug testing rules apply.
• Basic computer literacy required.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated refuse collection trucks on fixed routes.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and DVIR forms.
• Operate tablets for route information and communicate with supervisor.
• Dump at end of day and clean truck cab/body.
• Attend safety and training meetings and participate in special projects.
