Job summary

Sunshine Disposal & Recycling is hiring a full-time Refuse Truck Driver in Lewiston, ID. This role operates automated refuse trucks on fixed residential and commercial routes with a 4:00am start. CDL class A or B is required with no air brake restriction, plus a DOT medical card.

Starting wage is $26.00 per hour. Benefits include paid PTO, holidays, and company-paid medical/dental/vision for the employee, with coverage for dependents available.

Qualifications

• Two years CDL A or B driving experience.
• Class A or B CDL with no air brake restriction.
• DOT medical card required.
• Compliance with FMCSA drug testing rules.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip inspections and submit DVIR per regulations.
• Drive fixed routes on residential and commercial areas.
• Assist with loading/unloading and positioning containers as needed.
• Communicate with Route Supervisor to resolve dispatch issues.
• Complete end-of-day post-trip inspections and paperwork.
