Job summary

Sunshine Disposal & Recycling in Lewiston, ID is seeking a full-time Refuse Truck Driver for a day shift starting at 4:00am. Wage is $26.00 per hour with potential overtime. CDL Class A or B (no air brake restriction) and DOT medical card are required, along with FMCSA drug testing compliance.

Basic computer literacy is needed and on-the-job training is provided. The role involves operating automated refuse trucks on fixed routes, using GPS/tablet systems, and performing routine vehicle

Qualifications

• CDL A or B license with no air brake restriction.
• Valid DOT medical card.
• Must meet FMCSA drug testing rules.
• 2+ years CDL driving experience.
• Basic computer literacy required.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated refuse collection trucks on residential and commercial routes.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and DVIRs.
• Follow route information, maps and GPS data to complete daily tasks.
• Communicate with Route Supervisor to address dispatch issues.
• Dump and secure loads at designated locations at end of shift.
• Attend safety meetings and complete assigned trainings.
