Job summary

Waste Pro USA Inc. seeks a Grapple Driver to operate refuse collection vehicles on pre-assigned routes, loading garbage, yard waste, and recycling. The role includes supervising helpers, performing pre- and post-trip inspections, and maintaining trucks in clean condition.

Responsibilities extend to ensuring proper disposal at landfills or transfer stations and delivering courteous customer service while complying with DOT and state requirements. Physical duties and emergency work are possible.

Qualifications

• Must have a Class A or B CDL valid for the state in which the position works.
• Requires a clean driving record.
• At least 1 year of previous experience operating a vehicle requiring a CDL within the past 7 years.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives truck on pre-established route in accordance with company guidelines.
• Collects and dumps garbage and refuse into refuse trucks on designated route.
• Oversees helpers on assigned route and ensures safety procedures are followed.
• Performs daily pre- and post-trip inspections and DVIR reporting.
• Maintains clean truck and conducts weekly exterior washes.
• Performs manual duties in cleanup of scattered refuse and handles waste bins.
• Prepares and submits required reports and documents.
