Job summary

TITAN READY MIX, LP in Venus, Texas is seeking a Ready Mix Concrete Driver to safely operate a concrete mixer truck and deliver ready-mix concrete to construction sites. You will follow safety regulations, handle materials properly, and interact professionally with customers and job-site personnel.

Requirements include a CDL, clean driving record, knowledge of DOT regulations, ability to work early mornings and varying weather, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) – Class B or Class A (as required).
• Clean driving record and ability to meet insurance requirements.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions.
• Experience driving heavy trucks or construction vehicles preferred.
• Ability to work early mornings, extended hours, weekends, and in varying weather conditions.
• Physical ability to climb, bend, lift (up to 50 lbs), and work outdoors.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Time management and reliability.
• Basic mechanical knowledge.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Outdoor construction and industrial environments.
• Exposure to noise, dust, and varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a concrete mixer truck in compliance with DOT and company regulations.
• Transport and deliver ready-mix concrete to designated construction sites on schedule.
• Inspect vehicle before and after trips; perform basic maintenance and report mechanical issues.
• Accurately position truck and discharge concrete according to job-site requirements.
• Maintain proper mix consistency during transport and delivery.
• Complete delivery tickets, logs, and other required documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers.
• Follow all safety procedures, including wearing required PPE.
• Keep truck clean and in good working condition.
• Assist with washout procedures and yard duties as needed.
