Job summary

Dells Materials Company is seeking a Ready-Mix Driver in South Dakota to safely transport ready-mix and materials to project locations. You will perform pre-trip inspections, communicate with dispatch, and maintain accurate truck logs while adhering to safety regulations.

The role requires a CDL Class B, good driving record, and willingness to work overtime. Forklift certification is provided by the company, and additional endorsements are optional but helpful.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record; CDL Class B required.
• Tanker endorsement and medical card are optional but useful.
• Forklift Operator certification provided by Dells Materials Company.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicle and safety equipment.
• Communicate with customers and dispatch about deliveries.
• Safely deliver ready-mix, aggregate and materials to project locations.
• Perform routine maintenance and adjustments on equipment.
• Secure items for transport and maintain load balance.
• Maintain truck logs in compliance with regulations.
• Inspect and maintain truck and equipment; operate tools as needed.
