Job summary

Sunrock is hiring dependable Ready Mix Concrete Drivers for our new plant in Prospect Hill, NC. Drive concrete mixer trucks, load materials, and deliver to commercial and residential sites while following DOT regulations and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL required.
• Must pass MVR check and commit to safe driving practices.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and Job Ready Services screening.
• Experience operating heavy-duty commercial vehicles preferred.
• Related experience in ready-mix concrete delivery or construction trucking.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, vehicle inspections, and site safety.
• Ability to work long shifts, overtime, and flexible schedules.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a ready-mix concrete truck in compliance with DOT/OSHA standards and company policies.
• Deliver concrete to construction sites while maintaining quality and schedules.
• Read and follow delivery tickets, route instructions, and jobsite requirements.
• Inspect truck and equipment before, during, and after shifts.
• Communicate professionally with dispatchers, plant personnel, contractors, customers, and crews.
• Maintain delivery records and keep a clean, safe work environment.
