Job summary

Sunrock is hiring Ready Mix Concrete Drivers for a brand new plant. The role requires a valid CDL (A or B) and a commitment to safe driving and DOT regulations. You will operate concrete mixer trucks, deliver to diverse sites, and work flexible hours including overtime and weekends.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL or Class B CDL required.
• MVR check and commitment to safe driving practices.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and screening.
• Experience operating heavy-duty commercial vehicles preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and construction site safety.
• Ability to work long shifts, overtime, and flexible schedules.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a ready-mix concrete truck in compliance with all DOT regulations, OSHA standards, and company safety policies.
• Deliver concrete to construction job sites on schedule while maintaining quality.
• Read and follow delivery tickets, route instructions, and jobsite requirements.
• Inspect truck equipment before, during, and after shifts for safe operation.
• Communicate professionally with dispatchers, plant personnel, customers and crews.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and adhere to company procedures.
• Work safely in high-traffic zones and varying weather conditions.
