Job summary

Builders Supply, A CRH company, is seeking a Ready Mix Driver in Shreveport, LA to transport ready mix concrete to construction sites and customer facilities. You will operate mixer trucks, perform pre/post trip inspections, and comply with DOT guidelines while delivering to industrial and residential areas.

The role requires a CDL A or B, a high school diploma or GED, and at least 2 years of mixer truck experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years experience driving mixer truck preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and must maintain a CDL A or CDL B license.
• Must pass DOT physical, drug screen and criminal background check.
• Must possess valid DOT medical card.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily pre/post trip inspections with DOT-compliant documentation.
• Load and unload materials.
• Monitor gauges during vehicle operation.
• Maintain daily vehicle mileage logs.
• Follow all company policies and procedures for safety.
• Follow dispatch instructions and applicable laws.
• Ensure product quality to the best ability.
• Perform routine maintenance and refer major issues to supervisor.
• Keep vehicle clean and in good condition.
• Attend work as scheduled and on time.
• Other duties as assigned.
