Job summary

Builders Supply - Ready Mix is seeking a dedicated Ready Mix Driver to transport concrete to construction sites and customer facilities in Louisiana. Operate ready mix trucks safely and deliver on time while complying with DOT rules and company policies.

The ideal candidate will hold a CDL A or B, have a clean driving record, and be able to perform inspections, documentation, and routine vehicle maintenance with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years experience driving mixer trucks.
• Must have a valid CDL A or CDL B license.
• Must pass DOT physical, drug screen, and criminal background check.
• Willingness to travel and work nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily pre/post trip inspections with DOT-compliant documentation.
• Load and unload materials for ready mix operations.
• Monitor vehicle gauges during operation.
• Maintain vehicle mileage logs.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Obey dispatch instructions and traffic laws.
• Ensure product quality and report issues.
• Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of the vehicle.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

Education

High school diploma or GED

2 years mixer truck experience

CDL A or CDL B license
