Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH company, is seeking a Ready Mix Driver to transport ready mix concrete to construction projects and customers in the Tyler/Athens area. You will operate ready mix trucks safely, load/unload materials, and follow supervisor instructions while maintaining logs and meeting DOT requirements.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, at least 3 years of truck driving experience with similar weight, and a valid CDL A or B license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years experience driving truck with similar weight.
• Must have a valid driver's license and must maintain a CDL A or CDL B license.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily pre/post trip inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with DOT guidelines.
• Transport ready mix concrete to construction projects, company owned facilities or customers.
• Load and unload equipment of materials and monitor various gauges during operation of vehicle.
• Maintain daily vehicle mileage logs and follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Keep vehicle clean and attend required shifts and adhere to dispatch instructions.
