Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH Company, is seeking a Ready Mix Driver to transport concrete to construction sites in the Longview area. The role involves operating ready mix trucks safely, delivering to both industrial and residential sites, and following supervisor instructions with minimal direct supervision.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, at least 3 years of trucking experience with similar weight, and a valid CDL A or B.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years experience driving truck with similar weight and equipment.
• Valid driver's license and CDL A or CDL B.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily pre/post trip inspections with DOT documentation.
• Load and unload materials.
• Monitor gauges during operation.
• Maintain daily vehicle mileage logs.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Obey dispatch instructions.
• Ensure product quality.
• Perform minor servicing and maintenance; refer major problems.
• Keep vehicle clean and orderly.
• Attend regularly.
