Job summary

Ozinga Indiana Ready Mix Concrete Inc is hiring a Ready Mix Truck Driver responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of concrete to customers. The role requires a Class A or B CDL with airbrakes endorsement and a current medical certificate, with duties spanning pre/post trip inspections, accurate ticket reading, and handling heavy loads in various conditions.

Ability to read and speak English to communicate with customers and dispatch.
Strong safety awareness and adherence to DOT regulations.
Excellent driving record and willingness to perform pre/post trip inspections.

Responsibilities

Deliver concrete safely and efficiently to customers in rural and urban settings.
Perform DOT pre- and post-trip inspections and manage required equipment checks.
Read Delivery Tickets so the correct product and location are delivered.
Load/unload concrete and related items; handle heavy bags and accessories.
Drive to job sites, unload, and return to yard; multiple loads daily.
Move on uneven or muddy sites; attach chute extensions as needed.
Maintain professional communication with customers and Dispatch.
Keep truck clean; wash out drum after loading/unloading.
