Job summary

Ozinga Indiana Ready Mix Concrete Inc is seeking a Ready Mix Truck Driver to safely deliver concrete to customers across Gary, Crown Point, Valparaiso and surrounding areas. The role requires a Class A or B CDL with airbrakes and a current medical certificate, with the driver handling loading, unloading and on-site customer interactions.

The position includes performing DOT pre/post trips, reading delivery tickets, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness in all weather conditions while supporting

Qualifications

Ability to safely drive and operate Ready Mix truck.
Ability to read and understand delivery tickets and instructions.
Strong customer service and professional communication with Dispatch and customers.
Maintenance of clean, well-presented vehicle and adherence to safety rules.

Responsibilities

Deliver concrete and related products to customers’ sites.
Perform thorough pre- and post-trip DOT inspections.
Load/unload materials and assist with loading heavy items as needed.
Drive under various weather and site conditions to multiple locations.
Maintain cleanliness of truck, including drum washing after unloading.
