County Materials Family of Companies in Ocala, FL is seeking a Ready-Mix Driver to transport freshly mixed concrete from the batching plant to construction sites, ensuring safety and quality from plant to pour.

The role emphasizes professional customer service, DOT compliance, and accurate deliveries. Training on Ready-Mix procedures is provided; expect a 40-hour week with potential overtime and outdoor conditions.

Qualifications

• Must possess Class B or A CDL with air brake endorsement.
• Active DOT qualification required.
• Minimum 2 years of driving experience; Ready-Mix training provided.
• Ability to work well in a team; safety-minded and flexible to workload.

Responsibilities

• Deliver readymix concrete from the batching plant to job sites and construction customers.
• Interact professionally with contractors, customers, and site personnel.
• Perform daily preventive maintenance on the truck and plant/yard areas.
• Clean the ReadyMix truck between loads to ensure concrete quality.
• Complete pretrip and posttrip vehicle inspections using an electronic tablet.
• Monitor concrete mix consistency during transport and unloading.
• Sign and return delivery tickets and waivers as required.
• Adhere to safety policies, DOT requirements, and operational procedures.
• Maintain positive customer relationships and proper unloading at sites.
