Job summary

County Ready Mix is seeking a CDL Class B/ A Ready‑Mix Driver in Groveland, FL to transport freshly mixed concrete from the batching plant to construction sites. You will ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery while maintaining excellent customer service on each job.

Responsibilities include delivering concrete, performing basic truck/plant maintenance, and completing inspections and tablet‑based documentation. Training will be provided for Ready‑Mix procedures and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Class B or A CDL license with air brake endorsement.
• Maintain an active DOT qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of driving experience; willing to train in Ready‑Mix procedures.
• Ability to perform well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ready‑mix concrete from batching plant to job sites and customers.
• Provide professional customer service to contractors and site personnel.
• Perform daily preventative maintenance on truck and plant/yard areas.
• Keep mixer truck clean and handle loading/unloading safely.
• Complete pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections and document using tablet.
• Monitor concrete mix consistency during transport and unloading.
• Ensure delivery tickets and waivers are properly signed and filed.
