Job summary

Pico Propane and Fuels in Kenedy, TX is seeking a Dual (RF/LP) Delivery Driver with a Class A or B CDL, hazmat and tanker endorsements to load, transport and deliver refined fuels and propane. You will operate tractor-trailer units, perform pre/post-trip inspections, and maintain accurate logs in compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Class A CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements required.
• Must meet all DOT requirements.
• Ability to obtain TWIC.
• No more than 1 moving violation in last 2 years.
• 3+ years tractor/trailer in propane or fuel distribution.
• 1+ years tanker experience in last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Comply with city, state, and federal regulations.
• Load, secure, transport, deliver and unload product.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections for hazardous materials.
• Understand industry standards and government regulations for bulk petroleum transport.
• Plan and complete varied operational assignments.
• Gauge tank volumes and test product quality during transport.
• Maintain and document inspections, hours of service, and miles driven.
• Report maintenance needs and ensure vehicle safety.
• Assist with hauling equipment on flatbed trailer.
