Job summary

Pico Propane and Fuels, a Meritum Energy Holdings Company, is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Propane Delivery Driver to join our team in Dayton, TX. In this role, you will safely and efficiently deliver propane to residential and commercial customers while providing exceptional customer service.

The ideal candidate is safety-minded, dependable, comfortable working independently, and committed to providing the high level of service our customers expect.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Class A or B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Must meet all applicable DOT requirements.
• LP Delivery/LP Service certifications through RRC or ability to obtain.
• TWIC preferred.
• No more than one moving violation in the past two years.
• 3+ years of commercial driving in propane/fuels.
• 1+ year tanker experience in the last five years.

Responsibilities

• Safely loads, secures, transports, and delivers propane to residential/commercial customers.
• Complies with all safety regulations (local, state, DOT, company).
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections for hazardous materials vehicles.
• Maintains accurate logs and records per DOT requirements.
• Monitors vehicle condition and performs minor maintenance as needed.
• Arranges timely vehicle servicing and reports safety concerns.
• Maintains professional appearance of vehicles andEquipment.
• Delivers excellent customer service through professional communication.
• Performs prefill inspections and system checks as required.
• Operates delivery equipment including hoses safely.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
