Job summary

AmeriGas Propane, Inc. is seeking a Delivery Representative to safely deliver propane to residential and commercial customers from a local location in Richmond, VA.

You will operate propane delivery trucks, fill tanks, and ensure safety and compliance with all federal and state codes, while delivering excellent customer service. A valid CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements is required; the role involves outdoor work in all weather.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• Acceptable driving record.
• DOT physical, drug test and background check completed.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes.
• Fill residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane.
• Deliver propane cylinders to commercial/industrial customers.
• Follow AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures.
• Wear required personal protective equipment.
• Work 8 to 12-hour shifts as needed.
