Job summary

AmeriGas Propane, Inc. is hiring Delivery Representatives to safely deliver propane to customers from local routes. You’ll operate a propane delivery truck, fill tanks, and deliver cylinders while following safety policies and federal/state codes.

Minimum CDL with HazMat/Tanker endorsements, clean driving record, and ability to lift up to 70 lbs are required; outdoor work in all weather is expected. Benefits include paid time off, holidays, and a 5,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

All Delivery Representatives should have a valid class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
Acceptable driving record; satisfactory completion of a DOT physical, drug test and background check.
Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions; ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes.
Fill residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane.
Deliver propane cylinders to commercial/industrial customers.
Perform daily functions in a safe manner per applicable codes and AmeriGas policies.
Use of required Personal Protective Equipment.
Work 8 to 12-hour shifts as needed.
