Job summary

AmeriGas is seeking a Delivery Representative in Roanoke, VA. You will deliver propane to residential and commercial customers, operate a propane delivery truck, and uphold safety and service standards.

The role requires a valid CDL with hazmat/tanker endorsements, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs. Expect 8–12 hour shifts outdoors, with benefits and company perks available.

Qualifications

• Valid class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• Acceptable driving record.
• Completion of a DOT physical, drug test and background check.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes.
• Filling residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane.
• Delivering propane cylinders to commercial/industrial customers.
• Perform all daily functions in a safe manner by adhering to all federal and state codes and regulations and AmeriGas policies.
• Consistent use of required Personal Protective Equipment.
