Job summary

All Roads Kenworth South Florida in Ft. Lauderdale is seeking a dependable CDL Porter/Lot Attendant to assist the sales team with light maintenance and local deliveries of new trucks. You will use your mechanical knowledge and CDL license to provide an excellent customer experience, including driving a manual transmission to transfer vehicles.

This full-time position offers compensation from $18+ per hour with benefits and growth opportunities within a professional service environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to drive a manual transmission to transfer vehicles.
• Light maintenance and local deliveries of new trucks.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and enter new trucks into inventory.
• Prepare, transport and deliver trucks to local locations.
• Perform basic mechanical tasks: safety inspections, fluids, batteries, accessories.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Transport customers or passengers as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Lauderdale is searching for a candidate to assist the sales team by performing light maintenance and local deliveries of new trucks. Utilize your mechanical knowledge and CDL license to provide an excellent customer experience. Must be able to drive a manual transmission to transfer vehicles.

Responsibilities

1. Inspect and enter new trucks into inventory
2. Prepare, transport and delivery trucks to local locations
3. Minor mechanical skills...safety inspections, fluid checks, battery changes, accessory installation...
4. Maintain a clean and organized work area
5. Customer or passenger transportation as needed.
6. All other duties as assigned

This job operates in a professional shop environment. This role uses standard detailing equipment and tools.
