Job summary

Coastal Waste & Recycling is seeking a CDL Portable Sanitation Driver to service routes across Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina. You will operate a Portable Sanitation Truck, engage with customers, and ensure safe handling of materials, while upholding Coastal’s standards of professionalism.

The ideal candidate brings a valid CDL, commitment to safety, excellent communication, and willingness to work on varying schedules.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles and equipment.
• Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Portable Sanitation Truck on assigned routes.
• Service residential, commercial, industrial, or municipal customers.
• Collect, transport, deliver, or dispose of materials per procedures.
• Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Report mechanical concerns, safety issues, or route delays promptly.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations throughout the day.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional vehicle.

You'll be responsible for safely collecting, transporting, delivering, or servicing materials while providing outstanding customer service and representing Coastal professionally every day.What You'll DoSafely operate a Portable Sanitation Truck on assigned routes.Service residential, commercial, industrial, or municipal customers based on assigned route.Collect, transport, deliver, exchange, or dispose of materials in accordance with operational procedures.Operate hydraulic equipment and vehicle controls safely and efficiently.Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.Report mechanical concerns, safety issues, accidents, or route delays promptly.Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations throughout the day.Utilize onboard technology and electronic devices to complete route documentation.Maintain a clean, safe, and professional vehicle.At Coastal, we win as a team.
