Job summary

Coastal Waste & Recycling Inc. is seeking a CDL Automated Side Loader Driver to safely operate an automated side loader, servicing routes and ensuring clean, compliant operations.

You will deliver reliable service to residential, commercial, industrial, and municipal customers while upholding safety standards and representing Coastal professionally. Responsibilities include daily inspections, incident reporting, teamwork, and accurate route documentation using onboard tech.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles and associated equipment.
• Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate an Automated Side Loader Truck on assigned routes.
• Service residential, commercial, industrial, or municipal customers based on assigned route.
• Collect, transport, deliver, exchange, or dispose of materials in accordance with operational procedures.
• Operate hydraulic equipment and vehicle controls safely and efficiently.
• Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Report mechanical concerns, safety issues, accidents, or route delays promptly.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations throughout the day.
• Utilize onboard technology and electronic devices to complete route documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional vehicle.
• Support teammates after completing your route as directed by management.
• Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Wear required PPE at all times.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while representing Coastal Waste & Recycling professionally.

Your Role

As a CDL Automated Side Loader Driver, you'll safely operate an Automated Side Loader Truck while servicing customers along assigned routes. You'll be responsible for safely collecting, transporting, delivering, or servicing materials while providing outstanding customer service and representing Coastal professionally every day.

What You'll Do

• Safely operate an Automated Side Loader Truck on assigned routes.
• Service residential, commercial, industrial, or municipal customers based on assigned route.

• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while representing Coastal Waste & Recycling professionally.

What You'll Bring

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• Willingness to work overtime and varying schedules as business needs require.
