Job summary

Thompson Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking a Class A or B CDL Operator to join our safety-conscious team. The CDL Operator will safely execute Thompson Industrial jobs across services lines, supervise single-task crew jobs, and complete turnarounds with management oversight at client sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Class A or B CDL license required.
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements preferred.
• TWIC may be required.
• English proficiency to understand safety training and respond to emergency instructions.
• Experience operating a vacuum truck.
• Knowledge of operating wet/dry vacuum equipment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as safety representative for company and customer policies and procedures.
• Operate vacuum and hydroblasting equipment on job sites.
• Operate equipment such as Ultra High-Pressure pumps.
• Energize pumping equipment and specialized cleaning gear on site.
• Inspect surfaces for conformance to specs and perform routine maintenance.
• Direct a crew of vacuum technicians when required.
• Transport equipment and personnel to client locations and complete pre/post trip inspections.
