Job summary

The Food Depot is seeking a Mobile Delivery Coordinator (Non-Exempt) to join a two-driver team for FM3 food distributions across its service area. You will operate a Class A truck, load and unload, place orders, stock, and ensure accurate client and distribution data.

The role requires a valid CDL, DOT Medical Card, strong customer service, safety focus, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. You’ll work with staff and volunteers, prepare FM3 for each distribution, and help maintain records

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–3 years of related experience preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Class A CDL and DOT Medical Card.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Strong communication, teamwork, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a two-person team.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A vehicle and safely transport the FM3 truck and trailer.
• Work as part of a two-driver team for FM3 operations from start to finish.
• Assist with ordering dry, produce, refrigerated, and frozen items for distributions.
• Stock and organize FM3 before each distribution and load as needed.
• Rotate inventory using FIFO to minimize waste.
• Follow proper food safety procedures in loading and distributing products.
• Monitor temperatures of refrigerated and frozen products during transport.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report concerns.
• Position, park, and set up FM3 at distribution sites safely.
• Set up and break down distribution sites and assist clients with registration.
• Load, unload, stage, and distribute food for FM3 distributions.
• Maintain accurate client counts and distribution records.
