Job summary

Mid-Ohio Food Collective (MOFC) is seeking a reliable Class B CDL driver to perform essential food pickups and deliveries across our service area while ensuring USDOT compliance and top-notch customer service.

The role requires operating commercial trucks, loading/unloading, performing safety inspections, and coordinating with the Transportation Manager on special projects. Qualified candidates will have 1 year of driving experience and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

Must be 21+ years old with a minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
Valid Class A or Class B CDL and a USDOT Medical Card required.
Clean driving record: no more than two moving violations and zero DOT-defined accidents in the last 3 years.
Experience operating propane/electric forklifts and electric pallet jacks/riders.
Freight experience handling food products and refrigerated freight preferred.
High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

Drive Class B trucks to perform donation pickups from retail partners, warehouses, manufacturers, and special community food drives.
Safely deliver orders, produce, and government food programs to partner agencies across a 20-county service area.
Load and unload cargo using material handling equipment and ensure proper securing of loads.
Complete required USDOT documentation and maintain accurate driving records.
Perform basic vehicle maintenance and coordinate with repair facilities as needed.
Assist Transportation Manager with special projects and events as required.
