Job summary

Memorial Blood Centers is seeking a CDL driver to transport bloodmobiles and support community blood drives across Minnesota. You will deliver vehicles safely and on time, assist donors, and provide excellent service to donors and sponsors.

After paid training, duties include vehicle prep, site setup, on-site donor recruitment, and post-drive transport of products to the processing center. Schedule varies 4:30am–10:00pm with weekends; local driving, home nightly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid/Current CDL (Class A or Class B w/ Airbrakes).
• Current Medical Card / ability to pass a DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift 40lbs and push rolling equipment.
• 2 years driving trucks, buses, coaches, or larger cargo vehicles.
• Excellent driving record free of any accidents or moving violations within the past 3 years.
• Customer service experience.
• Defensive driving.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, transport, unload, load and return vehicles before and after assigned blood drives.
• Begin Day: Mobile Preparation and Site Setup for a Blood Drive.
• During Drive: Providing customer service, on-site recruitment for donors, and automation recruitment.
• End of Drive: Site Takedown and safe transport of products to center.
• Ensure exceptional customer service for donors and sponsors.
• Maintains and promotes inter departmental teamwork and communication.
