Job summary

The American Red Cross is hiring a Blood Collection CDL Driver in Saint Paul/Minneapolis, MN. You will transport blood collection equipment, set up sites, and ensure a welcoming environment for volunteer donors while following safety procedures. Paid training available; CDL required with DOT compliance.

Strong customer service and communication skills are essential, with a history of safe driving and ability to lift and assist with equipment. Local travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with a clean driving record is required.
• DOT certification is required and you must pass the DOT physical.
• Experience driving large vehicles is strongly preferred.
• Customer service experience and effective verbal communication skills are required.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office apps are expected.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport blood collection equipment and set up/tear down sites with the team.
• Personally connect with donors to share the impact of their donation.
• Collaborate with teammates to create a welcoming environment for donors.
• Maintain attention to detail to ensure donated blood meets regulatory standards.
