Responsibilities

• Weld, cut and perform minor fabrication on plant or mobile equipment.
• Work safely and adhere to site procedures.
• Removal and installation of mechanical parts as needed.

The individual hired into this position would be responsible for performing mechanical repairs on diesel-powered mobile equipment including troubleshooting and repairs of heavy equipment, rebuilds, removal and installation of mechanical parts, and preventative maintenance on all types of diesel-powered equipment. This will be located at our Woodbine Quarry in Chapman, KS.

• Ability to work safely at all times
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant mobile equipment including CAT, Komatsu andamp; Volvo quarry/construction equipment/ diesel engines
• Mechanically inclined on a wide variety of hand tools and power tools
• Weld, cut and perform minor fabrication on plantand or mobile equipmentand
• Other duties as assigned
