Job summary

Colonial Materials, Inc. - Wilmington, a unit of SRS Distribution Inc., is seeking a Delivery Driver to safely operate a commercial vehicle while delivering building materials to job sites.

You will load and unload, maintain compliance with DOT regulations, and provide world-class customer service. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid CDL (Class B required, Class A preferred), a clean MVR, and knowledge of DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid CDL required; Class B min, Class A strongly preferred.
• Clear three (3) year MVR required.
• Solid knowledge of DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect truck and trailer for defects to ensure safe operation.
• Safely load materials onto flatbeds/boom trucks and unload at sites.
• Deliver materials to assigned areas, prioritizing safety.
• Maintain compliance records for state and federal regulations.
• Report all accidents involving driver or equipment.
• Lift heavy materials up to 80 lbs. for loading/unloading.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional attitude.
