Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is hiring a Local Delivery Driver (CDL A or B) in Jessup, MD. You will deliver products to customers with 10–12 stops per day, perform daily inspections, and handle paperwork, ensuring DOT compliance and safety.

Qualified candidates have a minimum high school diploma or GED, 2 years of driving experience (or truck driving school), a valid CDL A/B, hazmat endorsement (or within 60 days), and no major incidents in the last two years. 21+ with ability to lift 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; proficient in reading/writing English.
• Two years of consecutive driving experience or recent Truck Driving School certification; valid CDL A or B.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Hazmat endorsement on CDL or obtain within 60 days of hire.
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past 2 years.
• No alcohol-related convictions within the last 10 years.
• Able to pass DOT physical and obtain medical certificate.
• Ability to push, pull, move and lift at least 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers with 10–12 stops per day, handling freight and paperwork.
• Accurately count and record quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up.
• Complete hazmat shipping papers per DOT regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Identify needs for timely vehicle repairs and maintenance.
• Build relationships with customers to meet business goals.
