Job summary

Linde plc is seeking a professional CDL driver for delivery routes in Cary, NC. You will make 10–12 stops daily, ensure accurate DOT paperwork for hazmat shipments, and perform pre- and post-trip inspections. This role requires safe driving with no major violations and the ability to handle up to 75 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; proficient in reading and writing in English.
• Two years of consecutive driving experience or recent Truck Driving School certification; valid CDL.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Hazmat endorsement on CDL or obtain within 60 days of hire.
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in past two years.
• No alcohol-related convictions within last ten years.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and obtain medical certificate.
• Lift a minimum of 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers, averaging 10–12 stops per day while handling freight and completing paperwork.
• Accurately count and record quantities and styles of delivered and picked up products.
• Complete hazardous material shipping papers per DOT regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Identify maintenance needs and coordinate repairs.
• Build relationships with internal and external customers to meet business goals.
• Continue expanding knowledge of Linde’s operations to support growth.
