Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; able to read and write in English.
• Two years of driving experience or Truck Driving School certification with valid CDL (Class A or B).
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Hazmat endorsement on CDL or obtain within 60 days of hire.
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in past 2 years.
• No alcohol-related convictions in past 10 years.
• Able to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate.
• Ability to push, pull, move and lift a minimum of 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers by making an average of 10-12 stops per day, while handling freight, paperwork, and providing excellent customer service.
• Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up.
• Complete hazardous material shipping papers in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance.
• Build relationships with internal and external customers to meet business goals and customer needs.
• Continuously build knowledge on how Linde's business operates to help the organization grow.
