Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Local Delivery Driver (CDL A or B) for the South Bend, IN area. You will deliver to customers with 10–12 stops daily, complete DOT shipping paperwork, and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.

You must have a CDL, be at least 21, and maintain a hazmat endorsement or obtain within 60 days of hire. Expect safety-conscious driving and strong customer service to support our growth and service excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of driving experience or recent Truck Driving School cert with a valid CDL.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Hazmat endorsement on CDL or obtain within 60 days of hire.
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past 2 years.
• No alcohol-related convictions in the last 10 years.
• Must pass a DOT physical and obtain medical certificate.
• Ability to push/pull/move/lift at least 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers with ~10–12 stops per day, handle freight, complete paperwork, and provide excellent customer service.
• Accurately count and record quantities and styles of delivered/picked up products.
• Complete hazardous material shipping papers per DOT regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections; identify maintenance needs.
• Build relationships with customers to meet business goals.
• Continue learning about Linde’s operations to support growth.
