Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. in Nitro, WV is seeking a Local Delivery Driver (CDL A) to deliver products to customers on a first-shift schedule. You will perform 10–12 stops daily, handle freight, complete paperwork, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining safety and compliance with DOT regulations.

You must have a CDL A with hazmat endorsement (or obtain within 60 days), be 21 or older, and pass a DOT physical. The role requires lifting up to 75 pounds and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of consecutive driving experience or recent Truck Driving School certification.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Hazmat endorsement on CDL or obtain within 60 days of hire.
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions or moving violations in past 2 years.
• No alcohol-related convictions within last 10 years.
• Must pass DOT physical and obtain medical certificate.
• Must be able to push/pull/move/lift a minimum of 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers, averaging 10–12 stops per day, handling freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service.
• Accurately count and record quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up.
• Complete hazardous material shipping papers in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance.
• Build relationships with internal and external customers to meet business goals.
• Continuously learn how Linde’s business operates to support company growth.
