Job summary

Capitol City Produce is seeking a Transportation Delivery Driver to ensure the safe, efficient delivery of refrigerated produce across Louisiana. You will work under the Transportation Leadership Team and build professional relationships with customers, dispatch and receiving managers.

Typical shifts start around 3:00 a.m. and end by 6:00 p.m. A Class A or B license, DOT Medical Card, ability to lift 60 lbs, and willingness to work mornings, evenings, weekends are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year driving experience in a straight box truck or larger
• Valid Louisiana Class A or B Driver’s License
• Ability to obtain DOT Medical Card
• Lift up to 60 lbs regularly
• Moderate climbing, bending, and working in cold environments

Responsibilities

• Deliver fresh fruits and vegetables throughout Louisiana
• Maintain professional relationships with customers, dispatch, managers and Capitol City Produce teammates
• Follow safety standards in a fast-paced warehouse and transportation environment
