Capitol City Produce in Robertsdale, AL is hiring a Delivery Driver to operate a CDL refrigerated truck safely and efficiently. You will maintain professional relations with customers, dispatch, and staff while following the Transportation Manager's schedule.

The role requires 1+ year of box truck or larger driving experience, excellent customer service, ability to work early mornings, weekends and holidays, and the DOT Medical Card.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of experience driving box trucks or larger.
• Exceptional Customer Service Skills.
• Ability to work morning, afternoon, early evening, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Should be able to obtain DOT Medical Card.
• Clear MVR (no more than 1 moving violation within a rolling calendar year)

Responsibilities

• Operate a CDL refrigerated truck safely and efficiently.
• Maintain professional relations with customers, dispatch day and night receiving manager, Capitol City Produce staff, and vendors.
• Follow the schedule set by Transportation Manager and adapt as needed by company requirements.

What does the Delivery Driver do at CCP?

The Delivery Driver will work under the direction of the Transportation Leadership Staff and is responsible for the safe, efficient, reliable and environmentally compliant operation of a CDL refrigerated truck. Maintain professional relations with all Customers, Dispatch Day and Night Receiving Manager, Capitol City Produce Staff, subordinates, peers and vendors. Requires morning, afternoon and evening availability any day of the week. Required to work a schedule determined by the Transportation Manager, but may be changed by Transportation Manager based on company needs.

Pay Ranges

• Class A: $20+
• Class B: $19
• Class D in AL, Class E in FL: $18
• We will hire anyone with a Class A, Class B, Class D, & Class E Driver’s License

Requirements

• Must have at least 1 year of experience driving box trucks or larger

• Ability to work route beginning at 3:30 a.m. and generally ending by 6:00 p.m.
