Job summary

US Foods is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver in Baton Rouge, LA. You will safely deliver products to customers, unload freight, verify deliveries, and provide professional service while maintaining equipment inspections and basic account handling.

Requirements include CDL A with proper endorsements, 21+ years old, and 6 months commercial driving or 3 months in food/beverage delivery. Training pay starts at $25.65/hour.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A with endorsements and DOT qualifications.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Able to read/communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Safe Driving: deliver products on time and safely.
• Unloading: unload 100% touch freight using ramp or by hand.
• Delivery Verification: obtain signatures from customers.
• Customer Service: provide professional service at delivery.
• Equipment Inspection: perform pre- & post-trip checks.
• Account Management: handle collections/payments when applicable.
• Adaptability: perform other duties as assigned.
