Job summary

A driving education provider in Wilmington is seeking a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Instructor. In this role, you will instruct students on driving skills, including parking and inspections, to prepare them for their CDL road tests. The ideal candidate will have a valid Class A CDL, two years of relevant experience, and strong communication skills. The role offers a pay range of $23 - $25 per hour along with benefits such as health insurance and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License and clean driving record required.
• Class A License Required.
• Two years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Instructs students in operating CDL vehicles.
• Teaches parking methods for CDL vehicles.
• Conducts pre-trip and in-cab inspections.
• Prepares materials for lessons and grades student performance.
• Tracks student time in vehicles.
