Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. in Strongsville, OH is seeking a delivery associate with a Class A CDL to support customer home deliveries and in-store pickup. You will drive, load, unload, and install appliances and coordinate with customers to ensure on-time, safe deliveries.

The role requires DOT compliance, a valid medical certificate, and the ability to pass MVR screening. You will maintain vehicle safety, inspect loads, and communicate clearly with customers and store leadership to solve issues

Qualifications

Class A CDL License required for multi-unit CMV operations.
Class B CDL License may be acceptable for single-unit CMV with air brake endorsement.
Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one upon employment.
Ability to pass MVR screen in accordance with company requirements.
Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration as may be required by law.
Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
Must be 21 years of age.
Ability to comply with DOT and CDL regulations.

Responsibilities

Provides SMART customer service through Lowe's customer service policies and programs.
Seeks out customers to assist in locating, demonstrating, and loading merchandise.
Plans delivery activities, loads deliveries, and ensures on-time delivery.
Inspects products before loading and ensures loads match invoices.
Unloads, installs and tests appliances and ensures vehicle safety and compliance.
