Job summary

Eligible residents and non-residents of Colorado may apply. The position offers a base pay around $53,940 with a housing stipend of $12,000, totaling $65,940 annually, plus overtime opportunities and comprehensive state benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have at least two (2) years of physical labor and/or heavy equipment operation experience.

Responsibilities

• Plowing snow
• Operating heavy equipment such as tandem dump truck, loader, tractor mower
• Mowing grass and weeds
• Removing debris from roadways, culverts, and tunnels
• Installing and repairing guardrail, signage, and lighting
• Filling potholes and roadway cracks
• Setting out signs and cones for traffic control
• Maintaining equipment and performing minor repairs
• Following safety guidance and wearing proper safety equipment
