Job summary

American Services LLC is seeking a skilled delivery driver to operate heavy equipment and trucks, ensuring safe loading, unloading, and transportation of freight across specified routes. The role requires a valid CDL and strong safety discipline.

You will perform pre-trip inspections, maintain delivery logs, and assist with site operations as needed. The ideal candidate has experience with various trailer types and a proven track record in timely deliveries, contributing to reliable emergency

Qualifications

Valid CDL license and endorsements for required equipment.
Proven experience in truck driving and freight delivery.
Familiarity with operating heavy machinery such as forklifts, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, or tractor-trailers.
Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and heavy equipment operation.
Experience with multiple trailer types (refrigerated, flatbed, tanker).
Excellent route planning and timely deliveries.

Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment and trucks to load, unload, and transport freight safely.
Drive commercial trucks across designated routes with careful attention to safety.
Load and unload cargo with safety protocols and proper handling techniques.
Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure safety standards are met before journeys.
Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, routes, vehicle maintenance, and operations.
Follow traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Assist with site operations as needed, including operating forklifts or other machinery.
