Job description

Position Summary

Our CDL/HAZ-MAT Drivers load, deliver, unload, and pick up equipment and supplies from various local job sites. The fleet consists of ½ TON, ¾ TON, and 1 TON Pick-up trucks. Drivers must be dependable, responsible, and possess a positive attitude, committed to providing excellent customer service and completing the job.

Must have a current Class A license with HAZ-MAT endorsement and adhere to all DOT regulations.

Essential Responsibilities, including but not limited to

1. Deliver and pick up company, vendor, and customer equipment such as PPE, breathing air, and bottle trailers promptly from designated sites.
2. Provide courteous customer relations and strive to strengthen relationships through safe, accurate, and punctual deliveries and pickups.
3. Serve as an Air Shop Technician when directed, performing inspection, cleaning, servicing, reassembling, and testing of customer equipment according to approved procedures.
4. Continuously upgrade skills to handle new assignments and responsibilities (SOP training).
5. Understand that personnel involved in Field Services can refuse unsafe tasks and must report incidents immediately.
6. Respond safely and promptly to work requests from the Operations Dispatcher.
7. Inspect all equipment for damage or wear, report findings, and comply with all DOT regulations.
8. Follow safety and operational checklists, including pre-trip inspections before each haul.
9. Make deliveries to and pickups from customer locations, including trailers and breathing air equipment, ensuring all documentation is completed.
10. Practice safe and courteous driving at all times.
11. Learn and observe site-specific safety requirements at each customer facility.
12. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Safety-conscious with a clean 10-year driving record (no infractions or accidents)
• 10+ years of Class A CDL driving experience with a current HAZ-MAT endorsement
• Current TWIC card
• Must be 30 years or older
• Ability to enter all client sites without restrictions
• Ability to pass background and drug tests

Physical Demands

The physical requirements include sitting, standing, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, handling, talking, hearing, climbing, balancing, and lifting up to 50 pounds regularly. Must be able to push/pull 110 pounds (wheeled rack). Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time, direct-hire position. Overtime and weekend hours may be required, including rotating on-call schedules.
